It’s really fun to write songs because I can spread my wings; my creativity and my imagination can run wild!

Teaching Philosophy

I treat every student with respect and love. I believe students are as much my teacher as I am theirs. I create a safe space for children to learn, discover and grow. I encourage students through personal possitive affirmations and through my colorful illustrated feedback in each lesson.

I incorporate the Kodály method which involves learning Solfège, reading music, ear training and using hand signs to help visualize the notes and which helps develop your inner, musical ear. Every student is different in the way they learn and process information so my teaching style is flexible to fit the needs of all my students.
